Garden Cottage - Uploders

Garden Cottage lies beside the River Asker in Uploders, a village near Bridport and not far from Shipton Gorge. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, two king-size (one with a four-poster bed) and a double. There are three bathrooms: an en-suite shower room off one bedroom, a separate shower room, and a bathroom with a roll-top bath. The bedrooms are up a steep, winding staircase.

The kitchen and dining room has an Aga, an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine and a Smart TV. The lounge has a wood burner in an inglenook, with the first basket of logs supplied, and a garden room has a TV and French doors to the garden. The utility room has a washing machine/tumble dryer, and a travel cot and a highchair are available.

The enclosed garden has two patios with outdoor furniture, flower beds and a lawn, and a gate leads to the river's edge, so children and dogs should not be left unattended. Take extra care on the paving. A tree-mounted camera and a CCTV camera monitor the entrance. Parking is on the road, about 70 metres from the cottage, subject to availability, and you walk in along a narrow footpath.

The beach is 3 miles away, the shop 3 miles, and the pub 300 metres. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits three couples, or a family and a dog, who want three bathrooms between them.
