Millham Barn

Millham Barn is a detached former farm building just outside West Milton, a village near Bridport and not far from Shipton Gorge. It stands a short distance from the owner's farmhouse, on an organic dairy farm, with footpaths crossing the land. A path from the raised parking area leads to the front door.

The barn sleeps six. A double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room is on the ground floor, off the lounge, and the first floor has a king-size room and a twin that share a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The lounge has a Smart TV, and beyond a barn door is the kitchen and dining room under a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen has a range-style electric double oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave. A stairgate is available.

Outside, a patio wraps around the barn with garden furniture, a lawn and a fire pit, and boules and other outdoor games are available. Off-road parking is provided for two cars. The pub is 1.4 miles away, but it is reached along a country lane that may be a safety risk at night. The shop is 3 miles away and the beach 4.5 miles.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The barn suits a family or two couples with dogs who want bedrooms on both floors and farmland on the doorstep.
