Garden Studio at Stanley House

The Garden Studio is a single-storey annex behind Stanley House, a period property in the middle of Charmouth. It is reached from the rear of the main property and sits on the ground floor. The room is open-plan, with a single bed, an optional pull-out truckle bed, a kitchenette and a dining space. A shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The kitchenette has a one-ring induction hob, a microwave, an air fryer, a fridge with an ice box, a kettle and a toaster. There is a TV and WiFi, electric heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent. Outside, guests have their own garden area with a patio, table and chairs.

There are four stone steps to the garden and studio, so it is not a good fit for anyone who struggles with steps. Parking is unallocated on-street parking nearby. The shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away, and the beach is 0.3 miles.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. With a single bed and a truckle, the studio suits a solo walker or fossil hunter, or two friends who do not mind a compact space, and who are bringing a dog.
