Gone Fishing

The games room at Gone Fishing has a pool table, and it is the room that sets this semi-detached Edwardian house apart. The house stands in an elevated position, less than a ten-minute walk from Brewers Quay and the harbour in Weymouth, and a short walk from Newton's Cove, where there are rock pools for crabbing.

Four bedrooms on the upper floor sleep eight: a king-size with an en-suite double shower, a double with an en-suite shower, and two twins. Another bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and a cloakroom is on the ground floor. The beds have feather duvets. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included, with gas central heating.

Downstairs there is a sitting room, a kitchen with a dining area and a utility room with storage. The kitchen has a range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and WiFi and a TV are provided. A patio with furniture is at the rear. A cot and highchair can be supplied on request, with guests bringing their own cot linen.

There are three steps up to the front door, and off-road parking takes two cars. Pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits two families or a group of friends, up to eight in all, who want a pool table and enough space for everyone to spread out.
