Greenwell

Greenwell is a four-bedroom house in Weymouth that sleeps eight, with the beach 0.3 miles away and a shop and pub 0.1 miles from the door. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor: two doubles, each with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a twin. Upstairs is the superking bedroom, with a television, an armchair and an en-suite that adds a bidet. The superking can be set up as two singles if you ask when booking, and that cannot be changed after arrival. A ground-floor family bathroom has a bath.

The living and dining room has a vaulted ceiling, a woodburning stove, a Smart TV and French doors onto the garden, and a snug with a Velux window is reached from the hallway. The kitchen/diner has a double gas oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. WiFi is provided, and fuel, power, a starter pack for the stove, bed linen and towels are in the rent.

Outside is a lawn with a patio and furniture. Off-road parking takes two cars.

No pets are allowed. The owners are allergic and the rule is strictly enforced, with a deep-clean charge taken from the bond if signs of an animal turn up. Smoking is not allowed either, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The house suits a large family or two groups of friends who want en-suite bedrooms and a short walk to the sea.
