Old Coastguard Apartment 2

Old Coastguard Apartment 2 is a converted flat on the second floor of a harbourside building in Weymouth, above the owner's own apartment. It was once part of the original Coastguard offices and keeps some of its original features. From the balcony window you look over the harbour, and the flat sleeps up to eight.

Everyone shares a single open-plan living, kitchen and dining room, with a separate utility room alongside. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a microwave and a 70/30 fridge-freezer, and there is a washing machine, a television, gas central heating and WiFi. A cot and highchair are available, and guests bring their own cot linen.

All three bedrooms have their own en-suite shower, basin and WC. Two are super king-size doubles. The third has a super king-size double plus twin single beds, so it takes four on its own. Access is by stairs up to the second floor.

Parking is by zone permit for on-street spaces, subject to availability and council renewal, and a space cannot be guaranteed. The nearest pay-and-display car park is at Weymouth Pavilion, about 5 minutes' walk. Festivals bring some road closures and parking restrictions. Changeover is on Saturdays only, a good-housekeeping bond is payable and pets are not allowed. With an en-suite for each of its three bedrooms, it suits a large family group or two families travelling together.
