Harbour Reach

Harbour Reach is a renovated fisherman's cottage in an elevated position a few minutes from the Brewers Quay area and the old harbourside of Weymouth. It sleeps five over three floors. A twin room and a small double are on the first floor, along with the bathroom, which has a bath with a power shower over it. A double bedroom is on the second floor.

The living room has a feature gas fire and a dining area, and the kitchen is small, with an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. A porthole stained-glass window is one of the quirks that give the house its character. From the cottage you can look over Weymouth's rooftops to the sea, and out the back is a small yard with a decked area and a table and chairs.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed. A cot, a high chair and a stairgate are available, but guests need to bring their own cot linen. The narrow, winding stairs to the attic may not suit very young children or anyone who has difficulty walking.

There is no parking at the cottage. The nearest pay and display car park is Nothe Car Park, a 10 minute walk away. A pub and shop are five minutes away and the beach is a mile. It suits a family or a small group with one dog who can manage the stairs and are happy to leave the car in a public car park.
