Harbour Tales

Harbour Tales is a cottage over three floors next to Brewers Quay in Weymouth, renovated at the end of 2023. The shop, pub and harbour are 0.1 miles away and the beach is 0.5 miles. At the back is an enclosed courtyard with furniture. Pets are not allowed.

Of the three bedrooms, one is a king-size and the other two, a king-size and a twin, are on the second floor. The first bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower, and the second-floor shower room has a walk-in shower under a low ceiling, which may suit guests of 5ft 6in or smaller. There is a separate cloakroom, a sitting room with an ornamental fireplace, and a kitchen/diner with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A utility room and a washing machine are also provided.

Gas heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, along with a TV and WiFi. A travel cot and highchair are available, though guests bring their own cot linen, and the house has a stairgate. Parking is on the road under a permit for Zone L, subject to council renewal, and a space cannot be guaranteed. The nearest additional pay and display parking is at the Nothe, a few minutes' walk away. Smoking is not allowed. The harbour and Hope Square close to traffic for two free festivals, usually the late May bank holiday weekend and the first weekend of June, which can bring road closures and parking restrictions. It suits a family or group of friends of up to six who do not mind hunting for a parking space.
