Harbourside Haven Apartment 1 is a first-floor flat for up to four in a harbourside development in Weymouth, looking over the marina. A lift serves the building as well as the stairs, but the lift can be out of service for maintenance, and if it is you will be climbing to the first floor.

Cars go in an underground, electronically gated parking space allocated to the apartment. It is for small cars only because of the tight turn into the area, with limits of 2m in height, 1.8m in width and 3.983m in length. Pay and display car parks nearby include a multi-storey, and others a few minutes' walk away work through the Just Park app, all for a fee.

The sitting/dining room has patio doors that lead onto a private balcony, and the kitchen has an induction hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite walk-in shower, and the twin bedroom looks out over the marina. The other bathroom has a bath with a shower over, and the whole flat has underfloor heating, a Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels come with the booking.

Smoking and vaping are banned inside and on the balcony, with an extra cleaning charge for a breach. Pets, hen parties and stag parties are not accepted, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. Ask for the cot and high chair before you arrive. A weekly fire alarm test runs on Saturdays, 11am to 3pm. Building work on the neighbouring property is expected to run until autumn 2026, so there may be some disruption, and the harbourside view from the block could change once it is finished. It suits two couples, or a small family, who want a flat with a car space and the beach 0.3 miles away.
