High Bullen Cottage

High Bullen Cottage is attached to the owners' stone-built white house in Morcombelake, up a private road just seconds from the A35. It sleeps two, in a king-size bedroom upstairs that looks over the Dorset countryside, with a hint of the sea in the distance. The shop is 0.2 miles away and the pub is 1.2 miles.

The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, and there is a separate WC. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a coffee machine, and the first five Nespresso pods are provided. A woodburning stove warms the cottage. A starter pack for it, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Children are not accepted, except for infants under one. Arrivals and departures are on Mondays and Fridays only, and other days need an enquiry. Off-road parking is for one car, and the maximum is one dog. The enclosed patio has raised beds and furniture. The owners' gardens next door are not open to guests. Smoking is not allowed, including in the gardens.

It suits a couple, with a dog or a baby under one, who want to walk from the door towards Golden Cap and the coastal path.
