Hill Crest

Hill Crest is a two-bedroom bungalow in Swanage that sleeps four, and its main extra is the use of a beach hut. The hut is brick-built with beach furniture and sits just over a mile away on the seafront. The beach there has dog restrictions at some times of the year, though a dog is allowed inside the hut and on the pathway.

The garden is large and enclosed, with a long lawn, a decked terrace for meals outside and a smaller deck, all with garden furniture. French doors lead to it from the lounge, and from the kitchen to the deck. There is also a dining room. The kitchen has a range-style electric oven with five gas burners, a microwave, an American-style fridge/freezer with an iced drink dispenser, and a washing machine. The bedrooms, a double and a twin, both have bay windows facing the Purbeck Hills, and the family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

A single dog is welcome, and extra charges may apply. There is private parking for one car, and a travel cot is available if you bring your own cot bedding. The shop is 350 metres away, the pub 500 metres and the main beach 0.5 miles. Guests need to bring their own beach towels. Check-in is from 4pm, and check-out is before 9am.

The bungalow suits a family or two couples who want a big garden and a beach hut, with one dog.
