Hill View - Blandford

Hill View is a detached single-storey cottage at Thornicombe, near Blandford Forum and Winterborne Stickland, on the A354. A gated shared driveway leads to it, and it sits next to the owners' home with its own privacy. It sleeps four, in one double and one twin bedroom.

The front door opens straight into an open-plan lounge and dining room with a TV and a wood burner, laid out as separate areas for sitting and eating. A door from there leads to the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a filter coffee machine, an air fryer, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The double and twin bedrooms each have a Smart TV, and they share the one shower room with WC.

The fully enclosed courtyard garden has garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ and a pizza oven, plus a summer house with rattan furniture, for when you want shade. Off-road parking is for two cars. The beach is 19 miles away, a shop 4 miles and a pub 3 miles.

No dogs are allowed. The cottage suits two couples or a small family who want their own garden and parking, and are happy to drive for the shop and the beach.
