Keepers Cottage

Keepers Cottage is an end-terrace barn conversion overlooking a landscaped courtyard near Winterborne Stickland. It is arranged on one floor, with a low step up to the kitchen and another to the bedroom corridor. The sitting room, which has a dining area, has exposed beams and a woodburning stove, and fuel, power and a starter pack are part of the rent, with extra logs on sale.

The king-size double has its own en-suite with a bath and a shower over it. The twin room uses a separate shower room. Kitchen equipment includes an electric oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and the TV has FreeSat and a DVD player. WiFi and a selection of books and games are provided. Each bed space gets a hand towel and a bath towel, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested.

The private garden is enclosed, with a lawn, a patio and a picnic bench, and guests can also use a larger shared lawn at the front and a shared games room with a pool table, table football and air hockey. There is covered bike storage and ample off-road parking, and an EV charger works through the Pod Point app. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead at all times, because livestock is close by. Smoking is not allowed. Guests are asked to use the footpaths and farm tracks and to walk carefully, avoiding crops. For the pub, allow 1 mile; the shop is 5 miles away. The cottage suits a couple or a small family travelling with one or two dogs.
