Hilltop View

Hilltop View is a single-storey cottage for two in the hamlet of Lillington, near Sherborne. A shared driveway leads to its private entrance, where a bench and boot space greet you before the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a Lavazza coffee machine, with a breakfast bar and stools. The lounge has patio doors, a Smart TV and an electric fire with a wood-burner effect, and heating throughout is electric. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a second Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Bath robes are provided.

Patio doors open onto a fully enclosed terrace with furniture, sun loungers and a gas barbecue, plus a small strip of lawn for dogs. At the front there is one off-road parking space and an EV charging point, which is paid for separately, directly to the owner.

Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges, and the owner will consider a third if you call to ask. The pub and shop are 2 miles away and the beach is 25 miles. The cottage suits a couple travelling with a dog or two who want a quiet base and an electric car they can charge on site.
