Home Waters

Home Waters stands at Ferrybridge in Wyke Regis, on the edge of Portland Harbour at the southern tip of Weymouth. The beach is a two-minute walk, and Smallmouth Bay nearby has a small sandy beach. The house has a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room, and the appliances include an oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine.

Three bedrooms sleep five: a king-size, a twin and a single. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, and a ground-floor cloakroom has a basin and WC. A cot is available on request, and guests bring their own cot linen. Gas central heating, WiFi, a Blu-ray player, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Two cars fit: one in an off-road space and one on the driveway at the front, which has a dropped kerb. The parking is reached through an arch 2.3 m high and 6 m wide, and the space measures 2.5 m by 5.5 m. The patio is enclosed and has a decked area and furniture. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and smoking is not allowed. A shop and a pub are a 15-minute walk away, and the Rodwell Trail leads to Weymouth town centre in about 30 minutes on foot. It suits a family of up to five, or a group travelling with dogs.
