Hyde Farmhouse Granary

Hyde Farmhouse Granary is a converted granary for four in the village of Walditch, near Bridport. The shop and pub are 1 mile away and the beach is 3 miles. Guests should know that no dogs are allowed and that the property does not take children under the age of 5.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room keeps exposed stonework and wooden beams. The lounge has a TV with a DVD player, seating and a wood burner, and logs are included from October to the end of April. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, a washing machine and a microwave, and a small freezer is in the cupboard under the stairs. An air source heat pump and underfloor heating are supplemented by the wood burner. Wi-Fi is included.

The twin bedroom is on the ground floor, with a stone floor and a small inset feature window, and a shower room with a WC is on the same floor. The double bedroom is upstairs, under a vaulted ceiling with its original A frame, exposed beams, an oak floor and historic granary tallies. It has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside is a front courtyard with an outdoor seating area that is partly screened and not enclosed. Off-road parking is available for up to three cars. It suits a couple, or two adults sharing, who want a character building without children or dogs.
