Jay Cottage

Jay Cottage is a two-bedroom terraced house for up to four people, in a quiet residential spot in Weymouth close to the harbour. Both bedrooms have a double bed, and one of them catches glimpses of Chesil Beach. The single bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, a basin and a WC.

You come in through a porch, which gives wet gear and watersports kit somewhere to go. The sitting room has two sofas and a TV. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine, plus a table for meals. Patio doors open from it into the enclosed garden, which has a lawn, a patio and seating. The house has gas central heating and WiFi, and the rent covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

Parking is off the road: two cars fit on the driveway and a third at the back of the house. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The nearest shop is 0.2 miles away and the pub 0.5 miles, and Smallmouth beach and the OTC Watersports Centre are each about five minutes away, the second by car.

It suits a family of four, or two couples, who want a garden, a drive to park on and a dog along for the week.
