Juniper Cottage

Juniper Cottage is a quiet cottage on the edge of West Lulworth, reached on foot along a path from the main road. The beach, the pub and a shop are all within half a mile. The terrace of cottages cannot be reached by car, so parking is roadside along the unmade road, about 200 metres away and subject to availability. The cottage has a private water supply.

A step leads up to the front door and a hall for coats and boots. Beyond is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with a farmhouse-style dining table, a Smart TV and a wood burner in a brick surround; the first basket of logs is supplied from October to April. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a wine cooler, a fridge with an ice compartment, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Up the winding stairs are a king-size bedroom with a feature fireplace and a bunk bedroom with a single bed and a pair of bunks, made up for two guests; the top bunk is available on request. The bathroom has a bath, a hand-held shower and a separate walk-in shower.

A stable door from the kitchen leads to a split-level back garden with a patio and outdoor furniture, and the front garden has a lawn and a bench. The drops in the garden are unenclosed, so children and pets need watching. A stairgate is available. Two dogs are accepted, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a couple with a child, or friends with dogs, who don't mind carrying bags along a path from the car.
