Linden Lea Cottage

Linden Lea Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched cottage in West Lulworth. You enter through a thatched porch into a lounge with exposed beams, a Purbeck stone floor, a TV/DVD and a wood burner in a stone fireplace; logs are included from October to the end of April. There is also a dining room. The pub is 200 metres away and the seasonal shop half a mile.

The layout runs over several levels. Four steps lead up from the lounge to the kitchen, which has an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher, alongside a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Three steps up from the lounge is the double bedroom, and three steps down from it is its en-suite shower room, which has low eaves. A further seven steps rise to the twin bedroom on the second landing, with a window seat, beams and low eaves.

The raised garden is enclosed and has seating, but it is approached by steps and is not suitable for the elderly or young children. Off-road parking is for one car, with further roadside parking. Wi-Fi, electricity and central heating are included. Children under 5 are not accepted. One dog is accepted, with additional charges possible. The cottage suits two couples, or a pair of adults with older children, who are happy to climb a lot of steps.
