Kings Cottage - Swanage

Kings Cottage is a converted chapel in Swanage, entered through a courtyard garden. Beach, pubs and shops are all within 1 mile. The galley kitchen opens into an open-plan living space under a dramatic vaulted ceiling, with a dining table and a Smart TV.

A twin bedroom and a wet room with a shower and WC lead off the living space on the ground floor. A winding staircase climbs to the second bedroom, a double with a balcony at the back overlooking the steam railway line, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC is next door. On the mezzanine is a reading nook, where a single pull-out sofa bed for one extra guest can be arranged on request; the cottage is booked for four. Headroom is restricted in places on the first floor because of the eaves.

The kitchen has a gas range-style hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. The courtyard garden is enclosed and has furniture.

There is one off-road parking space, and further roadside parking depends on availability. One dog may stay, with additional charges possible. The cottage suits a couple or two friends who like a converted building with a vaulted main room.
