Lavender Cottage - Whitcombe

Lavender Cottage is in Whitcombe, near Dorchester, and the town centre is 2.5 miles away. It sleeps five in three upstairs bedrooms: a king, a double and a single. There are two bathrooms. The one downstairs has a bath with an electric shower over it, and the one upstairs has a walk-in shower cubicle, each with a WC.

The hallway leads to a lounge with exposed beams and an open fire, with logs included from 1 October to 30 April, and a wide choice of books, games and DVDs. The kitchen has an oven with an electric hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and a dining table stands in the middle of the room. There is a TV and a radio, and the cottage has central heating.

Outside is a spacious lawn dotted with fruit trees and a garden with seating. Parking is on the driveway, for up to two cars, through a five-bar gate. The shop and the pub are each within 1.5 miles.

Dogs are welcome, up to two, and additional charges may apply. Lavender Cottage suits a family of up to five, or a couple with a dog or two, who want a cottage with an open fire and some lawn to play on.
