Thatched Grade II-listed cottage for three with a wood burner

Little Robins Hollow is an 18th-century, Grade II-listed thatched cottage in Stour Provost, a village near Gillingham and within reach of Motcombe. It has beamed ceilings and whitewashed stone walls, and it is laid out across several levels. It has two bedrooms: a double, and a single with a pull-out trundle bed, which has to be requested when you book.

You enter into the lounge, which has a wood burner (the first basket of logs is provided) and a Smart TV. Four steps lead up from there to the kitchen, with an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer and a microwave. A shower room and a utility room with a washer/dryer are just off the kitchen. Five steps lead from the double bedroom to its en-suite, which has a roll-top bath and a WC. There are several steps both inside and outside the property.

A stable door from the kitchen opens onto the tiered garden, with outdoor furniture among mature trees and flower beds. A raised patio or balcony with furniture is reached from the first floor. There is a BBQ and a fire pit, and guests bring their own propane tank. A doorbell camera and a camera in the garden are in place. Private parking is for one car, plus unrestricted first-come parking outside the village hall.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The shop and pub are 2 miles away and the beach is 27 miles. The cottage suits two adults and a child, or a couple with a dog, who are happy with steps and want a thatched cottage with a garden.
