Lobster Lookout

Lobster Lookout is a three-bedroom house in Swanage, within the Dorset AONB. The pub is 0.2 miles away, the shop 0.5 miles and the beach 0.7 miles. The walk back from the town centre is uphill.

The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a dining table for six, a separate sitting room, and a cloakroom/utility with a WC, a tumble dryer and a washing machine. Kitchen equipment is an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Upstairs are three double bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath, a shower over it and a heated towel rail.

The rear garden has a lawn, a patio and furniture. There is a drop from the lawn down to the patio and steep steps up to the lawn, so young children and pets need supervising. There is no barbecue, and the log burner is not in use. Two cars can use the off-road parking.

Dogs are limited to two well-behaved ones, and smoking is not allowed. The booking covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels, and the house has a TV, WiFi and central heating. Guests can check in from 4pm and must check out by 10am. Best for a family or group of six, or a couple with dogs, who do not mind a hill walk back from town.
