Long Barn

Long Barn is a thatched cottage in Burton Bradstock that sleeps four in two bedrooms. Guests walk in through a conservatory with stone walls and a tiled floor, which leads into the kitchen/diner, where a breakfast bar and a window seat sit beside the dining table. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, an air fryer, a slimline dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave, and a separate sitting room has a sofa, armchairs and a Smart TV.

Upstairs, the double bedroom looks onto the River Bride as it runs under the bridge, and the twin has a partly sloping ceiling and views over the countryside. The cottage has two bathrooms: a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, and a bathroom with a bath on the first floor. Head height is low on the landing and there are steps down between rooms, so take care on them. A travel cot and a highchair are available, and there is a clothes steamer but no iron or ironing board.

The garden has a patio with furniture, and off-road parking is for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away and the beach is 0.5 miles. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits a family of up to four, or a couple with a dog, who want to walk to the village.
