Lookout

Lookout is a three-floor house at Castle Cove, a short drive from Weymouth, overlooking Portland Harbour, Weymouth Bay, the ruins of Sandsfoot Castle and Sandsfoot Gardens. A cafe at the castle is just across the road. The kitchen and the sitting room with its dining area are on the first floor, a covered balcony leads off the sitting room, and a utility room is on the ground floor.

Both bedrooms are on the second floor, a double and a twin, and both have sea views, sleeping four between them. The bathroom, also on the second floor, has a bath and a separate shower. There is gas central heating, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, along with a selection of books, WiFi, BT Sport and FreeSat. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

A carport takes two cars off the road, and each entrance is 2.05 m wide. The rear patio garden is fully enclosed and has furniture. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. A pub and a shop are about ten minutes away. Bookings run for seven nights and must start on a Friday. The house suits a couple, or a small family, who do not mind climbing to the second floor to go to bed.
