Lyme Hideout

Lyme Hideout is a detached single-storey annexe in the owner's grounds above Lyme Regis, with a private entrance, and it sleeps two. It is set into the hillside, and bi-fold doors open into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, which has oak floors.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice compartment, a microwave and a dishwasher, and the poured-concrete worktop includes a breakfast bar for two. Sky TV is in the lounge and there is a TV in the bedroom. The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with a WC. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the adjacent boiler room, and the heating is underfloor, from an air source system. Outside is a patio with garden furniture.

Parking and access need reading carefully. The allocated space for one car is on a gravel area about 200 metres from the annexe, along the road. Guests then go through a lockable gate and climb a flight of external steps to the entrance. The beach, shops and pubs are within walking distance.

One dog is allowed, with additional charges that may apply, and not in the bedroom or on the furnishings. Children and infants are not accepted. Barbecues and any fires or naked flames are not permitted anywhere at the property, for insurance reasons. It suits a couple with a dog who are comfortable with steps and a walk from the car.
