Lyndon

Lyndon is a terraced cottage in the village of Bradford Peverell, near Dorchester, with Frampton nearby. It has a double bedroom and a twin on the first floor, so it sleeps four. Up to two dogs are welcome, downstairs only and not in the bedrooms, with additional charges possible. It suits a couple or small family travelling with a dog who will be happy keeping it downstairs.

The lounge has flagstone floors, a window seat and an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner, which is the main source of heating and comes with logs. The TV has Chromecast, and there is a Bluetooth speaker. The galley kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, a large fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a small breakfast bar. A sunroom beside it has the dining space, and the shower room with WC is on the ground floor. Electric panel heaters and a towel rail warm every room except the lounge and kitchen.

The stairs to the first floor are steep and winding, and because of the age of the cottage some doorways are low. A stairgate is provided. Behind the sunroom is an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and an outside tap. Off-road parking for 2 cars is across the lane from the front door, and commercial or large vehicles need prior consent.

The beach is 9 miles away, the shop 3 miles and the pub a 20-minute walk. Check-in is from 3.30pm and check-out is before 10am.
