Ground-floor Frampton annex for four with a wood burner

Toll Lodge is a two-bedroom annex in Frampton, with both bedrooms on the ground floor and the owners living close by. It sleeps four. It sits on the main road, though the village itself is quiet, and parking at the front takes two cars.

The living kitchen and dining room are one open-plan space with a wood burning stove. Fuel and power for the burner are included in the rent, and one basket of logs is provided in autumn and winter. The kitchen has a microwave and fridge/freezer, and there is a washing machine, a flat-screen TV/DVD with Freesat and WiFi, though the rural location means WiFi cannot be guaranteed. Heating is electric, and bed linen and towels are included.

One bedroom has a double bed and the other twin singles. The single bathroom has a P-shaped bath with a shower over it, a basin and a WC. A terrace has garden furniture, and steps lead up to an enclosed rear garden. The owner advises that the lodge is not suitable for children under 5 because of the steep stone steps in the garden.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and the property is no smoking. It suits a couple or small family with older children, particularly cyclists, as a cycle path runs from Dorchester to Maiden Newton. Dorchester is around four miles away.
