Manor Cottage - Beaminster

Manor Cottage is a Grade II listed, 17th-century house in Beaminster, a short way from the centre, with original fireplaces, mullion windows and high ceilings. The front door is under a wisteria. Shops and pubs are within 100m, and the beach is 7 miles away.

The sitting room has an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner (logs are included) and a TV. The dining room overlooks the garden, and a step up leads into the kitchen, which has an Aga that is powered from October to April, a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a Nespresso Vertuo machine. A study leads off the dining room, the garden room looks over the garden, and the utility room has a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a separate tumble dryer.

Upstairs are two super king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with a roll top bath, and a twin. The other has a separate shower room. The garden is enclosed, with seating areas and a charcoal BBQ, and an outside tap for muddy boots and paws. The garage has a mini gym with a rowing machine, weights, a TRX trainer, stretch bungees, step-ups and a Pilates ball, plus a dart board.

One dog is welcome, or two by arrangement, and additional charges may apply. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, a stairgate is provided, and dog towels and a bed are supplied. Electric cars cannot be charged from the property under any circumstances. Children must be either under 6 months or aged 5 and over. A welcome hamper is included. It suits three couples or a family and friends who want a town base.
