Wren Cottage - Netherbury

Wren Cottage is in Netherbury, near Bridport, and 1.5 miles from Beaminster. Steps from the lane lead up to the front door and a small vestibule, then into the lounge, which has two sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner. The first basket of logs is included from October to April. It sleeps six.

The dining room beyond has French doors to the garden, and the galley-style kitchen next to it has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge. There is a utility area with a fridge/freezer and a washing machine, a separate WC, and a highchair and travel cot are available. The staircase rises from the lounge to the three bedrooms: a super-king-size, a double and a twin, whose low-level beds suit children best. One family bathroom has a bath, a separate shower and a WC.

The garden at the back is enclosed and split-level, with a patio and furniture, and steps up to a lawn. Bikes can be stored in the garage. There is no private parking: roadside parking is subject to availability.

One small dog is allowed, with additional charges that may apply. Confirm the pet policy when booking. The pub is 1 mile away, the shop 1.5 miles and the beach 5 miles. The cottage suits a family with younger children who will use the low twin room, and who can do without a guaranteed parking space.
