Mariner's Cottage

Mariner's Cottage is a 19th-century house in Weymouth that was once a sailor's home. The pub is 150 metres away, and the shop, the beach and Nothe Fort are each 0.5 miles off. The Sealife Centre is 2 miles from the door.

The lounge is built around a brick chimney breast with a wood burner, and guests supply their own logs. A smart TV is there for the evenings, and the kitchen/diner has a dining table beside the French doors. The kitchen holds an oven, hobs, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and the wifi connection is good.

Stairs from the lounge lead to a double bedroom and a twin room with two single beds. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and is reached down two steps. A travel cot and highchair are available, and guests bring their own cot bedding. A welcome pack is included, and guests should bring their own beach towels.

A courtyard garden has a table and chairs. Parking is unallocated, on the nearby roads and in car parks. No dogs are allowed. The cottage suits a family of four or two couples who would rather walk to the beach and the town than drive.
