Maysea

Maysea is an apartment on the first floor of a building on the Esplanade in Weymouth. The beach, shops, pub and restaurants are all within 100 metres. Entry is through a shared front door and hallway, then up two flights of stairs to a private entrance. There is no lift, so anyone with limited mobility should think carefully before booking.

The open-plan lounge and diner faces the front of the building. Large sash windows frame panoramic ocean views, and the room has a Smart TV and a dining table. An archway links it to the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a Nespresso machine.

The two bedrooms, each with a super-king-size bed, are at the back of the hallway, near the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. A study holds a single bed for extra flexibility, but the apartment is booked for four guests. It can also be booked alongside another property that sleeps a further six.

One private parking space for a car is behind the building, but the apartment can only be reached from the front, which means a walk of 200 metres from the car. It is not open to dogs. The flat suits two couples or friends who want a central seafront base and are comfortable with the stairs and the walk from the car.
