Melanie's Cottage

Melanie's Cottage is a mews-style house in the gated Kellaway Court development at Brewers Quay, in Weymouth. The shop and pub are 0.1 miles away and the beach is 0.6 miles. It sleeps four in two bedrooms: a king-size with a TV and a twin. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC, and there is a separate cloakroom.

The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer-dryer and a dishwasher. There are two TVs and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A cot and a highchair are available on request. At the front, a small patio with furniture takes the morning coffee.

One car has an allocated space behind the gate. For more, the Nothe Car Park is a few minutes' walk, and a space can be bought in advance or paid for at the machine. Each year the Fayre in the Square, usually on the late May bank holiday weekend, and the Wessex Folk Festival, usually the first weekend of June, close the harbour and Hope Square to traffic, with some road closures and parking restrictions. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted. Check-in is from 4pm. The house suits a couple or a small family who want to walk to the harbour.
