Mermaid Cottage

Mermaid Cottage is a contemporary two-bedroom cottage in the village of Wakeham, on Portland. The beach and the South West Coast Path are a short walk away, and Portland Museum is down the same road. The pub is 0.3 miles away and the shop 0.7 miles.

Two bedrooms upstairs, a double and a twin, sleep four between them. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a heated towel rail, and a cloakroom on the ground floor has a WC. The ground floor is open plan, with a kitchen and dining table and a sitting room that has a smart TV and a games console. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a kettle and a toaster, and a hairdryer is provided. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Behind the cottage, the garden is enclosed, with a lawn, gravel and furniture. Two cars can park off the road. Pets are not accepted and smoking is not allowed. Check-in is from 3.30pm and check-out by 10am. The cottage suits a family or two couples who want a garden and their own parking, and who are not travelling with a dog.
