Mia's Cottage

Mia's Cottage is reached from the street along a shared path to a private gate. External steps then lead down through the garden to the front door, so it is worth knowing there are a number of steps. It sits in Swanage, with the beach, the pubs and the shops all within 500 metres.

Inside, the hallway opens to an open-plan kitchen and dining room with a TV. The appliances are a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a fridge/freezer. Its bathroom combines a bath, a separate shower and a WC. At the front, on the lower ground floor, is a twin bedroom, and the double bedroom, which has built-in wardrobes, is off the hallway.

Stairs from the kitchen climb to the lounge, with oak floors, sofas and a Smart TV looking out over the town. A sofa bed here can be made available on request, although the cottage is booked for four. Ceilings on this floor are low and sloping.

The garden has raised decking, a lawn and dining furniture, and is enclosed. Parking is on the road outside and in surrounding streets, subject to availability, with unloading possible outside the gate. A single dog is welcome; additional charges may apply. A travel cot and a highchair can be provided. It suits a family of four who can manage steps.
