Milkmaids

Milkmaids is a three-storey stone cottage in Swanage. The pub is 150 metres away, the shop 350 metres and the beach 0.5 miles, and Peveril Point is a 1 mile walk.

You step straight into the sitting room, which has plenty of seating and a Smart TV. The kitchen is next door, with an electric oven, a hob, a microwave and a fridge, and a door to the courtyard. The dining room has a large stone chimney breast, a table and shelves of books and games. A utility room downstairs holds a washing machine, a freezer and a WC.

The first floor has a double bedroom, a single and the family bathroom, whose bath has a shower over it. On the floor above are another double and another single, both with partly sloping ceilings. In all there are four bedrooms and the cottage sleeps six. The open fires are not for use.

At the back, the courtyard garden has outdoor furniture and a step up to the patio. Parking is on the street directly opposite, subject to availability. The cottage allows two dogs; additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a family of six, or friends who want separate rooms, and who don't mind several flights of stairs.
