Mill Cottage - West Milton

Mill Cottage stands a quarter of a mile outside West Milton, a village near Bridport and not far from Shipton Gorge, along a private track. It is next to the owner's farmhouse on a working farm of 175 acres, and footpaths cross the organic dairy farm. It sleeps two.

Downstairs is an open-plan room with a kitchen, a dining area and a lounge with a sofa, a chair and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice-box, a microwave and a washer/dryer. Upstairs is a dual-aspect bedroom with a king-size bed and views over the farm, and next to it a shower room with a WC. A hairdryer is provided.

A few steps across the parking area lead to a gate and a small bridge over the mill stream. Beyond is a large sloping lawn with a decked seating area, a fire pit and apple trees. Parking is off-road and there is plenty of it. The pub is within 1 mile and the shop within 3 miles.

No children or babies can be booked, and the minimum stay is 3 nights. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a couple, with or without dogs, who want a secluded farm setting and a large garden.
