New Barn

New Barn is one of six converted farm buildings arranged around a courtyard on the owner's working farm, about a mile from Winterborne Stickland. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and each has its own en-suite. The king-size double has a bath with a shower over it, and the twin has a shower. Everything in the barn is on the ground floor.

A private enclosed garden comes with the barn, with a lawn, a patio and a picnic bench, and a larger lawn at the front is shared. The shared games room has a pool table, table football and air hockey. Parking is ample and off the road, bikes can go in covered storage, and the EV charger works through the Pod Point app, which also handles payments.

Inside, the kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room, with a woodburning stove alongside the electric heating. The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The rent covers fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove, and further logs can be bought. Bed linen is supplied, with a hand towel and bath towel for each bed space, plus a travel cot and highchair. A FreeSat TV, DVD player, WiFi, books and games are also provided.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, on a lead at all times because of livestock nearby. Smoking is not allowed. Walkers on the footpaths and farm tracks are asked to take care around crops. The pub is 1 mile away and the shop 5 miles. It suits two couples or a family of four who want an en-suite for each bedroom.
