Nuke

Nuke was once the stable for the brewery horses, and it and its neighbours were renovated into mews-style houses in the Brewers Quay and harbour area of Weymouth. A stable door opens into an open-plan living and dining room, and the kitchen beyond has a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. There is a TV with DVD, WiFi, and a cloakroom downstairs.

Two bedrooms are upstairs: a king-size with a TV and an en-suite shower room, and a twin. The family bathroom across the way has a corner bath. Heating is gas central heating, and the rent includes fuel, power, bed linen and towels. Outside is a small decked area at the front.

Off-road parking for one car is in an electronically gated parking area. The harbourside is less than five minutes' walk away, Newton's Cove beach and the Nothe Gardens are a few minutes' walk, and the town beach is about 15 minutes on foot or a short row on the ferry boat across the harbour. The shop is 0.2 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles.

The house does not allow pets or smoking. Nuke suits a couple on a romantic break or a small family who would rather leave the car in the gated space and get about on foot.
