Otter Cottage

A period house on James Street, Otter Cottage is 0.2 miles from the harbour in Weymouth. A shop is 0.2 miles away, a pub 0.3 miles and the beach 0.6 miles. The dining room seats all six guests, and the sitting room has a bay window and a Smart TV.

Three bedrooms upstairs hold a king, a double and a twin. A ground-floor bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, a first-floor wet room has a walk-in shower, and a first-floor cloakroom adds a basin and WC.

The kitchen has a coffee maker alongside an oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi comes with the house, as do fuel and power, bed linen and towels, and a cot and a highchair are available.

An enclosed garden has a patio and furniture. Two well-behaved pets are welcome but must stay off the upstairs floor. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable.

Parking takes some planning. James Street is a no-through residential road where residents park on both sides, with on-street spaces there and on nearby Franchise Street subject to availability. North Quay public car park is under five minutes away on foot, and Asda's car park, five minutes away, can be pre-paid. The cottage suits a family or two couples who do not mind walking from a car.
