Pheasant Lodge

Pheasant Lodge is a studio-style retreat for two, in 13 acres of private countryside and woodland 1.5 miles from Wimborne Minster. The grounds are shared with the owners and one other lodge, Deer Lodge, though the two lodges are secluded from each other. It takes adults only: children and infants cannot be accepted.

Everything is on one floor in a single open-plan room that holds the kitchen, dining area, sitting area and a king-size bed. The shower room has a shower, basin and WC. The kitchen area has a small combination microwave oven and grill, toaster, kettle, fridge and coffee maker, and there is a TV, a Bluetooth radio and WiFi. Bed linen, Egyptian cotton towels and bath robes are included in the rent, and heating is electric.

The garden is enclosed and has a lawn and a patio with a bistro set, a sofa, loungers, a barbecue, a pizza oven, a chimenea and the hot tub. Because the water is changed for each new guest, it may not be up to temperature until 8pm on arrival day. The grounds also have two fire pits, which are not usable in extremely hot, dry weather, and lawn games. A pub is 0.2 miles away and a shop 0.8 miles.

Parking is for one car, or two by prior arrangement. Check-in is at 4pm, pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Please tell the owner about any dietary requirements. It suits a couple looking for a quiet, adults-only break with a hot tub.
