Punch and Judy Cottage

Punch and Judy Cottage is a former quarryman's cottage of Purbeck stone on the outskirts of Swanage, in an area with a village feel. It sleeps four. The pub is 350 metres away, the shop is 0.5 miles away and the beach is a mile off. A single dog is allowed here, and additional charges may apply.

The ground floor has a lounge with exposed stone walls, which leads through to an open-plan kitchen/diner with a freestanding range-style cooker, a gas hob and a dishwasher. The family bathroom, with a roll-top bath, a shower cubicle and a WC, is down here as well. A steep wooden staircase leads up to a second lounge with bi-folding doors onto a decked area and a king-size bedroom. On the second floor is an attic room with twin beds. Three TVs, a DVD player, a DAB radio, a music dock and a Wii games console are spread through the house.

The cottage has many levels and steep stairs, so it is unsuitable for young children, and it is described as unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Children over 5 years old are welcome. The garden has a decked area, separate seating and garden furniture, and the summer house is private. Parking is on the street. A welcome pack is provided, and Wi-Fi is included. Bring beach towels from home. From 4pm you can check in, and check-out is before 10am.

It suits a couple or a family with children over 5 and a dog who are at ease with stairs and want an old stone cottage.
