Quarrier's Rest

Out the back of Quarrier's Rest in Swanage is an enclosed rear patio on several levels, with furniture, and it is the part that makes the house work for a dog owner. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and the shop, pub and beach are all 0.6 miles away.

Two double bedrooms sleep four. The single bathroom has a corner bath, a walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC, and there is a further WC on the first floor. The kitchen and the living/dining room sit side by side, and there is a log burner, a TV and a DVD player. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, an air fryer, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment, a separate freezer, a washing machine, a Nespresso pod machine and a cafetiere. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Parking is roadside. A highchair and travel cot can be requested. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. A good-housekeeping bond is payable, and guests must put rubbish out early on collection day, normally Thursday morning, and take any extra with them when they leave, or removal charges may apply. Smoking is not allowed. The house suits a family of four or two couples travelling with one dog, who can manage without a driveway.
