Rainbow's End

Rainbow's End looks across Portland Harbour towards the Isle of Portland. The ground-floor lounge and dining area share that outlook, and so do the rear bedrooms. The house is in Castle Cove, and the centre of Weymouth is a 30-minute stroll away along the Rodwell Trail, which is moments away.

The tiered garden has a patio and a lawn, with views over the sea. Inside, the first floor holds a 5 ft double, a twin and a single, so the house sleeps five, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a cloakroom and a lean-to boot room with a hand basin. The kitchen has a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and there is gas central heating, a smart TV and WiFi.

One off-street space takes a medium-sized car, and Old Castle Road has free, unrestricted street parking, subject to availability. Sandsfoot Beach, next to the sailing club, and the Tudor castle are nearby. Bed linen and towels are included. A cot and highchair are available, but guests need to bring their own cot linen.

Neither pets nor smoking are permitted, and a good-housekeeping bond applies. The house suits a small family or a group of up to five who plan to spend their time in the garden looking at the harbour.
