Ridgeway Log Cabin

Ridgeway Log Cabin is a detached, lodge-style property in Child Okeford, a North Dorset village near Farrington. A long shared driveway leads to it. External steps and a covered veranda lead to the front door, and the veranda has bench seating, with off-road parking at the front for two cars.

Inside, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner begins just inside the door, with a Smart TV in the lounge area. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a washing machine and a fridge/freezer below the counter, plus an extra fridge by the back door. The single bedroom sits next to the double, and a shower room with a WC is opposite them.

Out of the back door is a fully enclosed garden with a covered deck, a small lawn, a patio and a picnic bench; the covered deck leads across the lawn to the patio. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am.

A shop and a pub are both under a quarter of a mile away. The village has more than one pub, and Blandford Forum and Shaftesbury are among the towns to explore from here. The cabin sleeps three and suits a couple, or a family of three, with a dog.
