Riverside Cottage stands on the River Frome in Wareham, 200 metres from the town quay, with views across the water to the Purbeck Hills. It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. Shops, pubs and a restaurant are within 0.5 miles.

The main room is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The kitchen has an AGA-style cooker with four ovens and an induction hob, a second hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. A flight of wooden stairs rises to a mezzanine lounge with a Smart TV. The bedrooms have Freeview TVs.

The bedrooms are two king-size rooms, one of them zip-and-link and able to be made up as a twin on request, and two doubles. Of the three bathrooms, one has a bath and a WC, and two are en-suite shower rooms.

A courtyard has furniture for eating outside, and the lawns run down to the river and a private quay. A boat house stores rowing boats, kayaks and paddleboards, and there is bike storage. Private off-road parking takes two cars. The beach is 10 miles away. Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits two families, or a group of friends, who want to spend time on the water.
