Rockley Park - Harbour View, No 67

The veranda at Number 67 looks across the harbour towards the Purbeck hills, RSPB Arne and Corfe Castle. The two-bedroom lodge is on Rockley Park in Poole, with gated decking wrapping around it and one parking space alongside. Entry is by key code, so there is no waiting to check in.

A small beach, a water sports centre, a nature reserve and swimming pools are within a few minutes' walk, with activities that carry charges. Play passes for the park's facilities are not included and are bought from reception on arrival. Electric vehicles cannot be charged from the lodge, because of a park fire rule; charge points are in the reception car park.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, a TV, blackout curtains and a dressing table. The second bedroom has two full-size single beds and its own dressing table, and both have bedside cabinets with lights and USB sockets. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over and a heated towel rail. Double glazing and central heating run throughout.

The open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen has a freestanding sofa, an armchair, a large TV, a DVD player and Bluetooth sound. Kitchen appliances include an oven, gas hob, grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. Fuel and power are included, but bed linen and towels are not: bring your own towels, and linen can be hired for an extra charge by arrangement. Pets, smoking and stiletto heels are not allowed. Right for a couple or small family who want the park close by.
