Rupert Cottage

Rupert Cottage is a converted stable in Shire Horse Mews, a gated development entered through remote-controlled electric gates, close to Brewers Quay and the harbour in Weymouth. The shop, a pub and the harbour are 5 minutes' walk away, and Nothe Fort and its gardens are a few minutes on foot.

The sitting room has a corner sofa and a smart TV with Sky and Netflix, plus a DVD player and WiFi. The kitchen with dining area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Both bedrooms are upstairs. The king-size room has an en-suite shower, basin and WC, and the other is a twin. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and a cloakroom sits on the ground floor. A cot is available on request, and guests bring their own cot linen.

Parking is for one car only, through the electric gates. Newton's Cove, below the Nothe gardens, has a small pebble beach. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The cottage suits a couple or a small family who want a gated base near the harbour. Restaurants, bars and cafes in Brewers Quay are a short stroll away, and the historic harbour bridge leads over to the town centre.
