Saddlers Cottage

Saddlers Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in Weymouth, reached through a shared entry and fronted by a small enclosed courtyard with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and dog bowls are provided. The shop and pub are 0.2 miles away and the beach is 0.3 miles.

The sitting room has an electric fire and a sofa bed, and the kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The king-size and twin bedrooms are up the stairs and share one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. The sofa bed is for two children only. There is a Smart TV and WiFi, and gas central heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A hairdryer, travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available.

A few practical points. The stairs are a little steep, with a handrail on each side, and there is a step up into the courtyard. The cottage has no designated parking, only a standard permit for one nearby car park. Smoking is not allowed. From May to September the minimum stay is seven nights, running Saturday to Saturday, although the owner will consider other arrangements for bookings made within 14 days of arrival. It suits a family of four, or two couples, travelling with up to two dogs and happy with steep stairs.
