Sail Away

Sail Away is a three-bedroom house in a gated complex of 16 properties in Charmouth, on the Jurassic Coast. The shops and pubs are a short stroll from the door, the beach is within walking distance, and parking on site is ample.

Inside, the lounge/diner has a TV and DVD and a dining table with room for the whole party, and French doors open to the patio. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge and freezer. The washer/dryer is in the utility room, and a wet room with a WC is on the ground floor.

Three bedrooms are upstairs: a king-size with a TV and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and two twins. A further bathroom on this floor also has a shower over the bath. Some rooms have low sloping ceilings. The patio is furnished for meals and drinks outdoors.

Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. The park also has a coffee shop and a shared children's play area. The health club, with a gym, an indoor pool, a sauna and a steam room, is for over 18s at an additional charge. Club Wi-Fi is extra. The cot has no mattress and stairgates are not provided. A refundable security deposit is payable nearer the holiday. Short breaks are only available in off-peak weeks, arrival is from 4pm to 8pm, and electric cars cannot be charged at the property. No dogs are allowed. The house suits a family of six, or three couples sharing, who want the village and a gated complex close by.
